Hello! Welcome to my Blog

Hello, and welcome! This is my very first blog post.

It has now been nearly twenty years since I first took my first steps into the world of jazz. Over those years, I’ve grown into a jazz pianist, composer, improviser, educator, and researcher. I finally feel ready to share what I’ve learned through this blog—and what I’m still learning—with others who share a love for jazz and the piano.

The purpose of this blog is simple: to document and share the ideas, practice methods, musical concepts, and resources that have shaped my own journey. Many of these posts are created with my students in mind, but I hope they will also be useful to anyone interested in learning jazz piano, improvisation, harmony, or creative music-making.

The materials shared here come from my own study, teaching, performance, and ongoing research. I hope they inspire you, challenge you, and make your own musical journey a little more enjoyable.

안녕하세요. 블로그로 인사드리는 건 처음입니다. 재즈에 첫 발을 내디딘 순간부터 지금의 재즈 피아니스트, 작곡가, 즉흥연주자, 교육가 그리고 연구자로 활동하기까지 어느덧 20년이 흘렀습니다. 이제 제가 알고 있는 한도 내에서 블로그를 통해 제가 사랑하는 재즈와 피아노에 관한 이야기를 충분히 공유할 수 있다고 생각합니다.
